After years of not getting pregnant on our own but being too fearful to go to a doctor, my husband and I got pregnant with our first child. We lost our baby due to a miscarriage. We then were referred to Brown Fertility where I was diagnosed with premature ovarian failure. I learned that miscarriages and infertility, while not talked about as often as they should be, are very common. With lots of ups and downs, many prayers and the amazing support of Lauren, Emily and Dr. Brown, we became a family of three on January 13, 2017.
There is nothing more perfect then starting every day off with kisses from our son Noah and hearing the words we longed to hear for so long—mama and dada. We are so thankful for God’s grace and power and to Brown Fertility for helping us become the family we always dreamed of. The journey may not have always been easy, but it was definitely worth it. —2nd Corinthians 5:7
