Brown Fertility & The Previvor
Empowering Families. Protecting Future Generations.
A partnership rooted in hope, prevention, and the power of choice.
At Brown Fertility, we believe the journey to parenthood is about more than building a family. It is also about creating opportunities for healthier futures.
That is why we are proud to partner with The Previvor, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals through education, advocacy, and resources that support informed healthcare decisions.
Together, we are raising awareness about IVF with preimplantation genetic testing for monogenic conditions (PGT-M), helping individuals and families affected by certain inherited genetic conditions better understand their reproductive options.

About The Previvor
Founded by women’s health advocate Allyn Rose, The Previvor helps individuals take an informed and proactive approach to their health. Inspired by her family’s experience with hereditary cancer, Allyn advocates for genetic awareness, prevention, and access to reproductive healthcare.
Through education, advocacy, and initiatives such as the PGT-M Grant, The Previvor provides individuals and families with knowledge, support, and meaningful opportunities for their futures.
Genetic Testing & Family Planning
Understanding IVF with PGT-M
Helping families make informed decisions about their genetic future.
For individuals and couples carrying certain inherited genetic mutations, family planning can come with additional questions and considerations. IVF with PGT-M may help reduce the risk of passing a specific known inherited genetic condition to a child.
During IVF, embryos are created and tested for a specific genetic variant before an embryo is selected for transfer. This option may be relevant to individuals with certain inherited mutations, including BRCA1 and BRCA2, associated with elevated risks of some cancers.
PGT-M does not guarantee a healthy pregnancy or eliminate all genetic risks.
Brown Fertility provides individualized guidance to help patients understand whether this approach may be appropriate for them.
Ongoing Support
Expanding Access to Fertility Care & Resources
More Than a Grant. A Partnership Focused on Possibilities.
We understand that IVF with genetic testing can involve emotional, medical, and financial considerations. Our partnership with The Previvor is designed to help individuals learn about their options and connect with resources that may support their journey.
The Previvor PGT-M Grant supports a limited number of eligible recipients during select funding opportunities. Grant funding is limited, and applications are not continuously open. There is no guarantee of future funding or selection.
Our commitment to supporting families extends beyond individual grants. Whether you are interested in potential future opportunities, IVF with PGT-M, financing resources, or a fertility consultation, our team can help you explore possible next steps.

FAQ
Questions Are a Natural Place to Begin
Do I need a confirmed genetic diagnosis before contacting Brown Fertility?
No. You can contact us if you have a known genetic variant, a family history of an inherited condition, or questions about whether PGT-M could be relevant to your family.
Genetic counseling or additional testing may be recommended before a PGT-M plan can be developed.
Does PGT-M test for every genetic condition?
PGT-M looks for a particular known genetic condition or variant. It does not evaluate every possible genetic or health concern.
Your physician and genetic counselor can explain what your test would be designed to identify and what its limitations are.
Does PGT-M guarantee a successful pregnancy?
PGT-M does not guarantee a healthy pregnancy or eliminate all genetic risks. It cannot guarantee that an embryo will be available for transfer, that implantation will occur, or that treatment will result in a live birth.
Brown Fertility provides individualized guidance to help patients understand whether this approach may be appropriate for them.
Are PGT-M grants always available?
The Previvor PGT-M Grant supports a limited number of eligible recipients during select funding opportunities. Grant funding is limited, and applications are not continuously open. There is no guarantee of future funding or selection.
You are welcome to connect with Brown Fertility at any time to explore IVF with PGT-M, fertility consultations, financing resources, or updates on potential future opportunities.
