TAMPA, Fla. — President Donald Trump recently signed an executive order addressing vitro fertilization. The order aims to develop policies to expand access to IVF and improve its affordability.
Dr. Daniel Duffy, a reproductive endocrinologist at Brown Fertility in Tampa, said this is something he has been waiting for years to see.
“Finally,” he said. “Literally, finally. We finally got enough ears to hear.”
Through IVF, Duffy has assisted those struggling to conceive and start the families they’ve always wanted.
He said he wasn’t sure what kind of support IVF would have under Trump’s administration.
