Trained in Biology and Assisted Human Reproduction, Vinicius joins us with over 18 years of experience in embryology. Prior to joining Brown Fertility, Vinicius spent 13 years as a senior embryologist in Brazil and brings great expertise in many areas including preimplantation genetic testing (PGT), oocyte cryopreservation and andrology. As a top leader in the field, he has led several improvement-training courses on embryo and egg vitrification, embryo biopsy and laboratory quality management.
In addition to his clinical work, Vinicius has contributed multiple published scientific articles in the pursuit of increasing success of assisted reproductive technologies. He has devoted time to the editorial board of Brazil’s journal of Human Reproduction Archives and has been a journal reviewer of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine’s (ASMR) international benchmark publications Fertility and Sterility and Journal of Assisted Reproduction and Genetics.
