Teena has been in practice for 20 years, specializing in ICU, Plastic Surgery, Cardiothoracic Surgery and Recovery Room care. Her medical education began at Los Angeles Valley College, where she received an Associate degree in Nursing and continued at California State University, where she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. She obtained her MSN-FNP at Spring Arbor University and became certified for Family Nurse Practitioner through The Association of American Critical Care Nurses.
She has served individuals and families all over the United States, from coast to coast. Prior to her role at Brown Fertility, Teena worked in Los Angeles as Staff Nurse at Kaiser Permanente and as a Clinical Educator/Versant Coordinator for Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center before moving to Jacksonville, Fla. After her husband, a US Navy Veteran, was stationed in Jacksonville, Teena served patients in the nation’s top medical facilities for 14 years as a Critical Care Unit Staff Nurse at Baptist Medical Center and most recently, as a Cardiovascular Surgery Department Clinic Registered Nurse at Mayo Clinic.
Teena is passionate about continued professional growth and the Jacksonville community, where she and her husband have raised their three children. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring various culinary recipes from all over the world. Teena takes pride in providing top-quality and knowledgeable medical and patient care, walking women and couples through carefully curated education plans and follow-up evaluations to help families achieve their dream.
