Dr. Fouad is from Toronto, Canada and has lived in sunny Florida since 2014. After completing her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) and becoming board certified in OB/GYN, she pursued her passion for gynecologic surgery by completing an American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopist (AAGL)-accredited fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS) at the Mayo clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. She has performed over 1,000 gynecologic surgical cases during her fellowship training.

Dr. Fouad has spent seven years as an academic faculty at the University of Florida. There, she served as a vital educator for the OB/GYN residency program and performed hundreds of complex gynecologic procedures. She has a passion for teaching the next generation of physicians in her field of medicine. In honor of her outstanding teaching, she has consistently received the University of Florida College of Medicine Exemplary Teacher Award and the OB/GYN Department Golden Apple Teaching Award. Dr. Fouad was awarded the Association of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics (APGO) Excellence in Teaching Award in 2020.

Dr. Fouad is an expert gynecologic surgeon and performs contemporary minimally invasive conventional laparoscopy, robotic-assisted laparoscopy using the daVinci robotic surgery system, hysteroscopy, and vaginal surgery. She is skilled in the field of complex surgical management of advanced-stage endometriosis and uterine leiomyomas (fibroids). She believes in individualized medicine and patient care; and practices in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team approach in serving her patients and in managing complex pathology.

As a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon, Dr. Fouad has joined Brown Fertility to serve patients during their reproductive years in the areas of gynecologic surgery and subfertility/infertility treatment. Dr. Fouad finds it a privilege to be a part of her patients’ journeys in growing their families and in caring for their gynecologic needs.
